A three-tiered dumbwaiter holds forks and napkins so that guests can help themselves after they have filled their plates around the table. I buy huge, old monogrammed damask napkins, and use them for buffet parties.
The stone-floored gallery was once part of the outdoor area. A chinoiserie screen, printed in sepia and then painted hangs above a chest of drawers, flanked by painted chairs, all eighteenth-century Italian.
